He who doesn?t spend at least 16 hours seeking knowledge is not a student of knowledge ? Shaykh Ahmed an-Najmee
Shaykh Ahmed an-Najmee: I was in Riyadh in the year 1384 [AH]. Thereafter we were invited for coffee with him, so I went.*I remember a statement of his, he said, ‘He who doesn’t spend at least 16 hours during the day and night in seeking knowledge is not a student of knowledge.’ Questioner: Was that Shaykh al-Ghudayaan? Shaykh Ahmed an-Najmee: Yes by Allaah! I heard this with my own ear whilst sitting with him.*He said, ‘He who doesn’t spend at least 16 hours during the day and night in seeking knowledge is not a student of knowledge.’
