Thumbs up Advice for the Muslims‏

AsSalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakaatuhu

Brothers and Sisters with all the disturbing events that have and are happening in the Muslim countries like Egypt, please make dua for the stabilisation of these countries and the rectification of the rulers as Fudayl Ibn Iyaad mentions below

quote:

Praying for the Muslim Ruler

It is reported that Al-Fudayl bin Ayyad [Allah have mercy on him] said, 'If I had one supplication that was going to be answered I would make it for the ruler (imam), for the wellbeing and righteousness of the imam means wellbeing for the land and its people.'

Al-Dhahabi, Siyar A'lam Al-Nubala` in his biography of Al-Fudayl b. Ayyad.

Points to note

Wanting good for the Muslim rulers and supplicating to Allah for them features as an important aspect of the creed of Ahl Al-Sunnah wa Al-Jamaa'ah, and distinguishes them from the extremist ideology of the Khawarij sect. This has been recorded in the classical works of Sunni aqidah, for example:

Al-Barbahari (Sharh Al-Sunnah p113, 114) states, 'If you see a man supplicating against the ruler, know that he is a heretic (sahib hawa), and if you see a man supplicating for the ruler, know that he is a Sunni insha Allah.'

Al-Imam Al-AjurrI (d360H) states (Al-Shari'ah Vol 1 p371), 'I have mentioned warnings against the ways of the Khawarij that convey the message for everyone who Allah protects against the ways of the Khawarij, and who does not hold the views of the Khawarij, but is [instead] patient over the injustice of the rulers and who prays for the wellbeing and righteousness of the rulers, and who does Hajj and Jihad behind the rulers against every enemy of the Muslims, and who prays the Jumu'ah and Eid prayers behind the rulers. Whoever fits this description is upon the Straight Path; insha Allah.'

We have many fatawas from the ulema regarding the impermissibilty of demonstrations and rebellions against the rulers.

Shaykh Al Fawzaan; Shaykh Bin Baaz and others on demonstraions and revolts

In fact there are hadiths on the impermissibility of publicly rebuking the ruler; nevermind demonstrating and rebelling against them.

On the Authority of Ziyaad bin Kusayb al 'Adawee who said 'I was with Abu Bakrah, [may Allah be pleased with him] sitting under the pulpit [of the ruler] Ibn Aamir as he was delivering a sermon and he was wearing a fine garment. So Abu Bilaal said 'Look at our ruler wearing the garment of the sinners!' So Abu Bakrah [may Allah be pleased with him] said 'Be Silent!! I heard the Messenger of Allah [sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam] say

'' Whoever sends scorn upon the one whom Allah has given rulership to upon the earth, Allah will scorn him.'

[Declared hasan by Shaykh Al Albaani in his checking of Ibn Abee Asim's book As Sunnah]

Please make dua for these countries and for the rulers and for all the mashayikh and tulaabul ilm who are studying in these countries or have possibly made hijrah to these countries and the common people. As the state of affairs are worrying for many people.

Nu'man bin Bashir (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: Messenger of Allah said, 'The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever'.
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

We all see the state of Iraaq and other Muslim countries where over throwing of the rulers have occurred; do we really want another of OUR Muslim countries to be in turmoil like that?!

Abu Musa (May Allah bepleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah said, 'The relationship of the believer with another believer is like (the bricks of) a building, each strengthens the other.' He illustrated this by interlacing the fingers of both his hands. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

And the above was an attempt to implement the hadith of our Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wa ala aalihi wa sallam, when he said

'Ad-Deenu naseehah, Ad-Deenu naseehah, Ad-Deenu naseehah'. So we said 'To who yaa Rasoolullah?' He said 'To Allaah and His Book, and His Messenger, and the heads of the ummah, (the leaders of the nation) and its masses.'

So may Allah protect the rulers and us; guide them and us to the haqq and firmness upon it; rectify all of our affairs; the affairs of the Muslim rulers and all those they rule over.

May Allah forgive us of our sins.

Subhaanak Allahumma wa bihamdika Ash Shadu an Laa ilaha illa anta; wastagfiruka wa atoobu ilayk.

Thumbs up Re: Advice for the Muslims‏

On Friday evening we had a beautiful gathering in Philladelphia, PA with our beloved scholar Shaykh Falaah Ismaeel (حفظه الله). He supposed to speak on the topic of “Creed of Ahlul As-sunnah” but someone asked a question and requested for the advice on the current situation of Egypt. So the Shaykh gave a really beneficial speech in regards with dealing with this matter according to the Quran and the Sunnah. It was very emotional when Shaykh Falaah started telling about the torture of the rulers on the noble scholars of this ummah and started to weep, subhanAllah. Br. Abdur Razzaq was translating the speech of the Shaykh. We ask Allah grant us the correct understanding of this deen, aameen.

Listen here.

Thumbs up Re: Advice for the Muslims‏

Why are the Muslims in Such a State?‏

Our Lord the Most High said:

"(This is) a book that We have sent down to you, full of blessings, that they may ponder over its verses and that men of understanding may remember." (Soorah as-Saad, ayah 39)

Also He the Most High said:

"And We have sent down to you (Muhammad) the book as an explanation of everything, a guidance, a mercy and glad tidings for the Muslims." (Soorah an-Nahl, ayah 89)

Reflect and ponder over the following ayaat and ahadeeth. Baarakallaahufeek.

"Whatever of good reaches you, is from Allaah, but whatever of evil befalls you, is from yourself."
(Soorah An-Nisa',ayah 79)

" And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much."
(Soorah ash-Shoora,ayah 30)

"Evil (sins and disobedience of Allaah etc.) have appeared on the land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds etc.), that Allaah may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allaah)."
(Soorah ar-Room,ayah 41)

"And if the people of the towns had believed and had taqwa (piety), certainly, We should have opened for them blessings from the heavens and the earth, but they belied (the Messengers). So we took them (with punishment) for what they used to earn (shirk, and crimes etc.). Did the people of the towns then feel secure against the coming of Our punishment by night while they are sleep? Or, did the people of the towns feel secure against the coming of Our punishment in the forenoon while they play?."
(Soorah al-'Araaf, ayah 96-99)

"Verily never will Allaah change a condition of a people until they change what is within themselves
(Soorah ar-Ra'd, ayah 11)

"Let those who oppose the command of the Messenger in any of their affairs fear and beware that a trial should befall them, or a severe punishment."
(Soorah an-Noor, ayah 63)

"And you shall certainly hear much that will grieve you from those who received the Scripture before you (Jews and Christians) and from those who ascribe partners to Allaah; but if you persevere patiently, and become Al-Muttaqoon (pious by obeying Allaah and His Messenger), then verily that will be a determining factor in all affairs (and that is from the great matters which you must hold on with all your efforts)."
(Soorah al-'Imraan, ayah 186)

The Prophet (may the perfect praise and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
"And subservience and humiliation have been placed upon those who disobey my orders."
(Reported by Ahmad no.5114, hadeeth hasan)

The Prophet (may the perfect praise and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
"The nations are about to invite one another and come upon you just as those eating invite others to share in their dish."
Someone asked, "Will that be because we are few in number that day?"
He replied, "No, at that time you will be numerous! But you will be froth/scum like the froth/scum carried by the torrent, and Allaah will remove the fear of you from the hearts of your enemies, and Allaah will indeed throw weakness (wahn) into your hearts."

So someone asked, "What is the weakness (wahn)"?
He replied, "Love for the world and hatred for death."

(Reported by Aboo Daawood no.4297, Aboo Nu'aim and at-Tabaranee in al-Kabeer no 1452)

The Prophet (may the perfect praise and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "When you take part in 'eenah (usury) transactions, take hold of the tails of cows, become satisfied with cultivation and abandon jihaad, Allaah will send humiliation upon you and He will not remove it until you return to your Deen (Religion)."
(Hadeeth Hasan,Reported by Aboo Daawood, Bayhaqee and others)
