![]() Dr. Saleh as-Saleh passes away (rahimahullah)
16 02 2008 Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’oon Shaykh, Dr. Muhammad al-Jibaly wrote via his yahoo group: SubhanAllah, I found out about the death of Dr. Saleh as Saleh earlier this week. I didnt have time to read the details because I was in a rush. I did not want to believe it at first but later when I was driving, I reminded myself of the hadith that knowledge is not taken from the hearts of men, rather it is taken with the death of the scholars. And with his passing, the knowledge that he used to spread via the paltalk lessons and other ways was also gone. SubhanAllah, and it makes one cry for the knowledge that has been lost from this Ummah by the passing away of Dr. Saleh as-Saleh rahimahullah.“I did not believe the news at first, but just called his phone, and his wife confirmed it to me, and said he was too exhausted, and this was the main cause of his death (at the young age of about 50). She said his body is now in al-Ansar hospital, and will be buried tomorrow morning in al-Baqee’. I remember that when I first began to learn about the da’wah, da’watus salafiyyah, while I was still in college, I was looking for some audio lectures and books in English about the works of the Salaf. And when I came across Dr. Saleh as-Saleh’s website, it was a treasure of knowledge with his lectures teaching from the books of Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibnul Qayyim rahimahumullah. And he also had some lectures and books on the deviated ideologies of the Sufis and the Rawaafidh. Because I was at such a point that I needed to learn about these ideologies and how they went astray from the path of Ahlus Sunnah wal jama’ah so we can save ourselves from following in their path and remain firm upon the correct ‘aqeedah and manhaj. So we ask Allah to make his grave an abode of fragrance and light from Jannah and that He forgives him of his sins and grants him jannatul firdaus with the best of Companions, Prophet Muhammad sallalahu ‘alayhe wasallam, the rest of the Prophets and Messengers and the Sahaabah. Ameen. And our last call is that all praise belongs to Allah the Most High. wassalamu ‘alaykum Ibn Shahid Tawheed First writes about the passing away of Dr. Saleh as-Saleh: http://tawheedfirst.wordpress.com/20...h-passes-away/ |
