SOME NOBLE ATTRIBUTES OF THE MESSENGER (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam)
Imaam Ibn Qudaamah Al-Maqdisee (rahimahullaah) said:
"In the Torah, he (sall'Allaahu `alayhi wasallam) was described as, 'Allaah's chosen Prophet. He is neither stiff nor harsh. He does not raise his voice in markets. He does not retaliate mischief, but pardons and forgives.' He (sall'Allaahu `alayhi wasallam) used to greet people first. He never parted people first, even when shaking hands. He used to seat himself wherever he found room. He preferred silence for long periods. When he spoke, he used to repeat his words thrice. He never embarrassed anyone.
He (sall'Allaahu `alayhi wasallam) was loyal and trustworthy. Seeing him, people naturally revered him. Dealing with him, they loved him very much."
