In the Name of Allâh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
[108:001] Verily, We have granted you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) Al-Kauthar (a river in Paradise).
[108:002] Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only).
[108:003] For he who hates you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]), he will be cut off (from posterity and every good thing in this world and in the Hereafter). |
(V.108:1) Narrated Anas [radhi-yAllâhu 'anhu]: When the Prophet [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] was made to ascend to the heavens. He [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] said (after his return), "I came upon a river (in Paradise) the banks of which were made of tents of hollow pearls. I asked Jibrîl (Gabriel), 'What is this (river)?' He replied, 'This is the Kauthar.' " [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 6/4964 (O.P.488)]
(V.108:3) Narrated Anas [radhi-yAllâhu 'anhu]: The Prophet [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] said, "None of you will have Faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind."
[Sahih Al-Bukhari, 1/15 (O.P.14)]
