010 - Soorah Yoonus - ((Prophet) Jonah) - [Makkee]
[010:062] No doubt! Verily, the Auliy‚' of All‚h [i.e. those who believe in the Oneness of All‚h and fear All‚h much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which he has forbidden), and love All‚h much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)], no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve.
[010:063] Those who believed (in the Oneness of All‚h Ė Isl‚mic Monotheism), and used to fear All‚h much (by abstaining from evil deeds and sins and by doing righteous deeds).
[010:064] For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present world (i.e. through a righteous dream seen by the person himself or shown to others), and in the Hereafter. No change can there be in the Words of All‚h. This is indeed the supreme success.
[010:065] And let not their speech grieve you (O Muhammad [sal-All‚hu 'alayhi wa sallam]), for all power and honour belong to All‚h. He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
[010:066] No doubt! Verily, to All‚h belongs whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is in the earth. And those who worship and invoke others besides All‚h, in fact they follow not the (All‚h's so-called) partners, they follow only a conjecture and they only invent lies.
[010:067] He it is Who has appointed for you the night that you may rest therein, and the day to make things visible (to you). Verily, in this are Ay‚t (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.) for a people who listen (i.e. those who think deeply).
[010:068] They (Jews, Christians and pagans) say: "All‚h has begotten a son (children)." Glory is to Him! He is Rich (Free of all needs). His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. No warrant you have for this. Do you say against All‚h what you know not.
[010:069] Say: "Verily, those who invent a lie against All‚h, will never be successful" Ė
[010:070] (A brief) enjoyment in this world! and then to Us will be their return, then We shall make them taste the severest torment because they used to disbelieve [in All‚h, deny His Messengers, deny and challenge His Ay‚t (proofs, signs, verses, etc.)].
(V.10:62) Narrated Abu Sa'Ód Al-KhudrÓ [radhi-yAll‚hu 'anhu]: All‚h's Messenger [sal-All‚hu 'alayhi wa sallam] said, "When the funeral is ready and the men carry it on their shoulders, if the deceased was righteous, it will say: 'Present me (hurriedly),' and if he was not righteous, it will say: 'Woe to it (me)! Where are they taking it (me)?' Its voice is heard by everything except man, and if he heard it, he would fall unconscious."
[Sahih Al-Bukhari, 2/1314 (O.P.400)]
a) Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAll‚hu 'anhu]: I heard All‚h's Messenger [sal-All‚hu 'alayhi wa sallam] saying: "Nothing is left of An-Nubuwwah (Prophethood) except Al-Mubashshir‚t." They asked, "What is Al-Mubashshir‚t?" He replied, "The true good dreams (that convey glad tidings)." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 9/6990 (O.P.119)]
b) Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAll‚hu 'anhu]: All‚h's Messenger [sal-All‚hu 'alayhi wa sallam] said: "The (good) dream of a faithful believer is a part of the forty-six parts of An-Nubuwwah (Prophethood)." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 9/6988 (O.P.117)]
