Feed [TROID] Benefit: Belittling the People

In the Name of All?h, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy
On the authority of Ibn Mub?rak who said: “Whoever belittles the scholars has forsaken his hereafter; whoever belittles the leaders has forsaken his worldly life and whoever belittles the brothers has forsaken his honour” [Siyar A?l?m al-Nubal?? 15/425].

Commentary of Shaykh ?Abd al-Raz?q al-Badr: Looking at the people in a belittling manner is a form of pride and arrogance. The intelligent one does not look at anyone in a belittling manner. The one who belittles the people then this will be his punishment [i.e. the aforementioned saying of Ibn Mub?rak].
