Assalam u alaikum.

Data compiled over the past few decades do in fact indicate some degree of global warming is taking place. Just check the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) website for the background.

However, the oil barons and those who benefit from hydrocarbon extraction, processing and marketing want us to believe otherwise so that they can continue to make huge profits while spoiling the earth's environment.

Just look at the evidence especially in the North and South Poles and you will see the unprecedented melting of polar ice; not to mention the above average retreat of the world's glaciers (rivers of ice).

Human beings are Allah's (SWT) vicegerent on Earth.

We have a responsibility to take care of the planet.
