Assalamu Alaikum

My Dear brothers and sister , just asking a question out of concern ,i understand what servant is trying to accomplish , but..is it permissible to write and take notes while the khutbah is going on ?
Please provide information ..thanx alot

Bro, u could try sitting in front in the middle so u have a better chance at staying awake. If u does lean up when listening to the kuthba.....then that could cause it.....also try not to over eat b4 the kuthba .

i'm sure she was joking.. but you can still walk with the notepad, and approach the imaam after inshaAllah and get the notes.

i dont know about actually taking notes during the khutbah, but it's not something usually done. its better to develop you're memory anyway.

Sometimes i listen to the khutbahs live on radio shakti when i on lunch (12-1pm). But doh always get to hear the whole thing. Nevertheless, lookin forward to the challenge...But Servant (“big bro”) , is it only for the people who come online after Jummah ??
